Anindita studied at British International School Istanbul and Delhi Public School, R. K. Puram. Anindita completed her Bachelors with Honors in History from Lady Shri Ram College for Women. Anindita collected her first ad commercial for Idea with the "No Idea- Get Idea" opposite Abhishek Bachchan. She also did commercials for Panasonic opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Garnier Color Naturals opposite Karishma Kapoor. She is in films like 3AM by Vishal Mahadkar and Essel Vision Productions and will also be featured in Hasmukh Pighal Gaya, the lead opposite Vidya Balan, Amitabh Bachchan. She is a trained Scuba Diver, and uses her scuba diving skills professionally to shoot a number of underwater sequences as well.
